How Q&A works

Understanding our process for vetting, routing, and answering labor inquiries.

How it works

    All inquiries are checked:

    • For civility
    • For relevance
    • For repetition (has this already been asked?)
    • For personally identifying information (no 'doxing')
  • 2

    Vetted questions will be posted on the answer page with the time asked and the replies from each recipient it was directed to.

    The full text and the date submitted of all vetted questions will be posted on the answer page for transparency.

    General inquiries are answered once they are checked.

  • 5

    Questions directed to Union Stewards, the Union Representative, or Union Management are forwarded.

  • 6

    Tip submissions are anonymized and forwarded to appropriate stewards and replied to directly only if a contact email was indicated.

    Each recipient reply will be properly attributed and dated.

  • 8

    Questions that remain unanswered after a reasonable time will simply be marked with an "Unanswered" status.
